HYPOBATT Technical Training Programme

The HYPOBATT Advanced Training Programme provides a comprehensive overview of maritime multi-megawatt charging systems, combining technical, operational and regulatory perspectives. Structured in five modules, the programme covers system concepts, hardware architecture, digital infrastructure, standardisation and real-world applications. It is designed for a wide range of stakeholders and aims to support knowledge transfer, capacity building and the long-term deployment of high-power charging solutions for zero-emission maritime transport.

Module 1

Introduces maritime electrification and presents the HYPOBATT system concept, including key drivers, stakeholders, and project objectives.

Module 2

Explains the technical architecture and core system components required for multi-megawatt charging of electric vessels.

Module 3

Focuses on smart charging and digital infrastructure, including communication systems, data management, and cybersecurity aspects.

Module 4

Provides an overview of relevant standards, certification processes, and the regulatory framework for maritime charging systems.

Module 5

Highlights use cases, demonstration results, key lessons learned, and the future outlook for scalable maritime charging solutions.

Quiz

Test your knowledge of the latest developments in maritime electrification, multi-megawatt charging systems, and energy management. This quiz covers vessel electrification, charging infrastructure, digital twin applications, regulatory frameworks, and lessons learned from HYPOBATT use cases.
